This online seminar  will cover the many aspects and underlying factors of challenging behaviours in schools.

Perfect for educators and parents / carers, this online event will look at causes of negative behaviours as well as simple and easy to implement strategies to assist.

 

 

School Can’t (School Anxiety & Refusal)

 A topic that is a common struggle for many families and supporting staff.

Join Rebecca Challoner as she provides information and strategies on School Can’t (sometimes referred to as School Refusal).

This online seminar will address the many aspects of School Can’t. Including why School Can’t occurs, what small and large factors can impact a child’s ability to attend school and what strategies can be easily implemented both inside and outside school to assist.

This online seminar will play close attention to the impact of neurodivergence, mental health, trauma and other significant influences on School Can’t and School anxiety and look at the best evidence based solutions that can support and promote best outcomes.

About Rebecca Challoner

As well as being the Founder of My Spirited Child and the National PEKE Centres, Rebecca Challoner is also a Writer, Presenter and Trainer. Most importantly Rebecca is Mum to two neurodivergent boys. Rebecca herself is also neurodivergent as is her Husband.

Rebecca is currently a member of the Reference Council at the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health at Monash University.

Rebecca has written hundreds of articles, books and resources. And has featured in countless magazines, newspapers, podcasts and radio shows as well as presenting a full length DVD Documentary.

Rebecca is a multi award winner and in 2024 Rebecca received an award at the Women Changing the World Awards in London presented by the Duchess of York.

Rebecca has numerous qualifications including Sociology and Psychology. As well as a Law degree with Honours. Rebecca has also attended many courses and trainings on neurodivergent conditions, behaviour and mental health.
